we have been using Photoshop since it was just
a baby.... since it was on version 2.0, back in the days when it was just a simple, two-bit black and
white old thing!
Over years we've developed various retouching and illustrative techniques, each of which have had their own unique applications on various clients' projects.
Illustrations created for :
Frank The Agency (British Airways London Eye)
Brief: To make this London photo look like the film poster for 'The Day After Tomorrow'.
Result: One week and a very large Photoshop file later... For the London Eye.
Close up: The artwork was used on a 48-sheet billboard poster in London...
..So the resolution and file size were enormous! A single 15.7Gb layered file. Eeek!
Plenty of detail added figures (purchased images) , showing breath and ice reflections.
Brief: To illustrate a 6 metre wide pantomime backdrop graphic. A 'dungeon' style image.
Result: A dark and moody dungeon, with lots of added details. (purchased images)
Purchased images were retouched and adapted for incorporation into the illustration.
Detail: A high level of added detail was merged with the Photoshop effects and images.
Detail: Another close-up detail. Illustrated for a Blackpool-based events company.
Another six metre wide panto graphic! This time an Aladdin theme was required... (cont)
... This time I chose a pleasant, softer, airbrushed style for the illustration.
